Healthy Banana Bread

Whole wheat banana bread sweetened with honey and applesauce.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease an 8x4 loaf pan. 2. Mash the bananas until slightly clumpy. 3. Add the applesauce, melted coconut oil, honey, and egg white and mix until combined. 4. Add the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger and gently mix until combined. 5. Fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips if using. 6. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. 7. Cool for 30 minutes before slicing.
