Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce
Rich dairy-free caramel sauce simmered from coconut milk and coconut sugar with sea salt.

01Add the coconut milk and coconut sugar to a medium saucepan, mix with a whisk or spoon, and bring the mixture to a boil. 2. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for around 35 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly and clings to the back of a spoon. 3. Add the salt and vanilla extract, stir, and let the sauce cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes. 4. Use as-is or transfer to a glass jar and refrigerate, where it will thicken further; drizzle over pancakes, waffles, ice cream, or cakes.
