Korean BBQ Sauce

Sweet and spicy Korean-style BBQ sauce made with gochujang, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.

    Peel and mince the garlic and ginger. 2. Heat the sesame oil in a small saucepan until it shimmers, add the garlic and ginger, and saute for about a minute. 3. Stir in the vegetable broth, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes, whisking until the starch dissolves. 4. Add the soy sauce, maple syrup, gochujang paste, and rice vinegar and stir well. 5. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until thickened, 1-3 minutes. 6. Use immediately or transfer to a clean jar.
