Mix the flax seed and water in a bowl and set aside for at least 5 minutes.

  • 1 tbsp โ€” white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp โ€” maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp โ€” olive oil (plus more for cooking)
  • 1 tbsp โ€” low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp โ€” apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup โ€” shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves โ€” garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp โ€” ground coriander
  • ½ tsp โ€” ground cumin
  • 1 tsp โ€” dried basil
  • 1 tsp โ€” dried oregano
  • ½ tsp โ€” smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp โ€” black pepper
  • 1 tbsp โ€” ground flaxseed + 2.5 Tbsp water (flax egg)
  • ¼ cup โ€” quick oats or oat flour
